Meet the Characters

Well I am ashamed to say that I haven't done any editing this past week (not really). I guess it's because D-day is approaching and I am just so reluctant to move on. The Gemini has been a part of my life for over half a decade now and even though I did start working on the sequel 'The Release' (title not finalised yet), I can't help but act like some kind of a mama bear still afraid to let her baby go out in the world to figure things on their own.

Call me crazy (I've already accepted it) but 'The Gemini' is not just my pilot project. I have had a lot of babies before her and have even more after her - I love them all in their own way - but 'The Gemini' wants to spread her wings and fly. She's ready. She's wants to face the world and all it's grey areas and she think's she's ready to be a part of it all.

'The Gemini' has always been a bit eccentric compared to my other babies, it's unlike anything I've ever created before (not that you would know - yet). I am incredibly proud of how far I have come and how resilient 'The Gemini' has been. I lost the draft a million times before getting to this point. I could have easily given up and let Miljor rest in the shadows without anyone being privy of the existance of the world.

Since we are reaching the end, the finish line, the zenith of my Gemini journey, I thought it would be quite good to introduce you all to the lovely characters that were born from the creation of The Gemini. I hope that when the time comes you will all learn to love my babies as much as I have grown to love them.

Meet Assyria - Assyria is the lost princess of Havilah. When she was just hours old, she was taken to another planet (Earth). She grew up in Red Rock Valley with the person who saved her from a prophecy that could have ended her life before she began it, and lived there until circumstances forced her guardian to return her back to her home planet which we know as Miljor.

Meet Aine - (pronounced Aniya) She is the crowned princess of Havilah which means that from the moment she was born she was groomed by her father King Baahil to take over the Havilian throne once she is of age. Aine has never had to share anything in her life, so it only makes sense that she ends up having a particularly difficult time adjusting to the new family dynamic when her long lost twin sister finally returns home.

Meet Arsenios - nicknamed Arsen, he is the love interest that comes between the two sisters. One might call him the catalyst of the sibling rivalry that ensues, but it's a little more than that.

This trio will be battling with forces unknown, catapulted into a world they only read about in history books they will have to find a way to find a balance in the world that chose them without their permission. A civil war will turn into an Absolute War that may or may not end up destroying not only Havilah but the universe as a whole. No one is safe in the end, eventually everyone will have to pick a side and no one knows if there is even a good versus bad. It's a battle for the ages, a war that has been brewing for centuries.

The plot might get confusing for a moment, but in due time all will be revealed. All we can do is hold on for the ride and hope that we don't get swallowed by the mystical world that is heightened.
