WE'RE BACK...BABY

Well after spending a month without blogging, because I started to realize that things were not progressing as I'd hoped. Maybe I am an impatient person, maybe my expectations were too high too early on in this journey. But I got set back. Most people go through it, some never recover from a set back. We tend to get too comfortable nestled in mediocrity and end up settling for what was never really the standard you were meant for.

So after some talking and time for introspection, I decided to throw caution to the wind once again. But dealing with the frustrations of goals not me, imposter syndrome and poorly editing a book has had me on a chokehold.

And despite all that has been happening-the accidental deletion of my manuscripts, laptop mood swings, writers block-I have been diligently editing and accidentally adding more chapters. I'm not sorry though, part of the first draft editing one tends to find a million and one mistakes, add to that a person's mental maturity when the first draft was written you tend to kinda force yourself to understand the mistakes and to move on.

On a lighter note, my excitement on Printing Day is so...exciting (for lack of a better word). I am getting closer and closer to the publishing day, and it really compels me to announce the date already. But I can't just yet.

Although the day is coming soon. Really soon.
